Yehowa Medical Services is continuing our efforts to offer no-cost COVID testing to our patients and community. If you would like to get tested, please call 323-776-1500 to make an appointment. Please bring your insurance card to your appointment.

Yehowa Medical Services has extended access to the COVID-19 diagnostic test described in section 6001(a)(1) of the FFCRA. To administer, COVID- screening & diagnostic testing for anyone with out-of-network plans.

Yehowa Medical Services is committed to keeping you healthy. It is important to know that the elderly and those who have existing respiratory illnesses are more likely to become seriously ill. Typical Coronavirus symptoms are similar to the flu: fever, coughing, and shortness of breath. If you have any combination of these symptoms, please call Yehowa medical services now at 323-776-1500 to speak with a medical professional.

Take Steps to Protect Yourself:

Clean your hands often

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Avoid close contact

Avoid close contact with people who are sick, even inside your home. If possible, maintain 6 feet between the person who is sick and other household members.
Put distance between yourself and other people. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.
Wear a facemask

Everyone should wear a facemask or face cover when they go out in public
Continue to keep about 6 feet between yourself and others. The mask is not a substitute for social distancing.

Cover coughs and sneezes

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow.
  • Throw used tissues in the trash.
  • Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, clean your hands with a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

Clean and disinfect

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
  • If surfaces are dirty, clean them: Use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection.
