Job description
Yehowa Medical Services is looking for a doctor who is licensed with the California Medical Board to work in our clinic. Our clinics are located in south central LA and the city of South Gate.
We are currently looking for a Family or Internal Medical practice doctor who will join our growing and enthusiastic team.
Ideal candidates should have California medical board licenses and all the necessary credentialing documents.
Education & Experience:
- California Medical License (Required)
- Medical Degree (MD, DO)
- Family Practice Residency training
- Within scope of training
- BLS and PALS certified
Responsibilities:
- Reviews patient file/record, including allergies, problems, medications and immunization status.
- Elicits and records information about patient’s medical history.
- Examines patients for symptoms or physical information.
- Orders or executes various tests, analyses and diagnostic images to provide information on patient’s condition.
- Analyzes reports and findings of tests and examination and diagnoses condition of patient.
- Administers or prescribes treatments.
- Determines and prescribes medication, dosage and schedule given the patient’s condition and allergies.
- Discusses any possible side effects to medication or immunization with patient.
- Prescribes vaccinations to immunize patient from communicable diseases.
- Promotes health by advising patients about diet, hygiene and methods for prevention of disease.
- Provides prenatal care to pregnant women. Provides postnatal care to mothers and infants.
The clinic sees patients from 0-100.

Yehowa Medical Services, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced part-time or full-time Pediatrician to join our growing team of healthcare professionals. As a Pediatrician at our clinic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Conduct physical exams, evaluate patients’ medical histories, and make recommendations for treatment plans.
- Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses, including infections, injuries, and developmental disorders.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, X-rays, and other imaging studies.
- Counsel patients and their families on issues related to growth and development, nutrition, and health promotion.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, social workers, and psychologists, to provide coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
Requirements:

Job description
We are seeking a part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Yehowa Medical Services, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). As an LCSW, you will provide direct behavioral health services to individuals, families, and groups. You will work as part of a collaborative team to provide integrated clinical services in a primary care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts psycho-social and functional assessments of patients.
- Assesses develops and coordinates a clinical treatment program for patients with acute or chronic psychiatric disorders.
- Performs short-term counseling and crisis intervention as appropriate.
- Ensures that patient care is maintained at the highest levels of excellence and complies with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Provide individual therapy using evidence-based psychotherapy interventions, and case management as needed and make referrals as needed.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice
Qualifications:
- Current LCSW license in the state of practice
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care
- Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
